Job Summary

As an R&D professional at Vikasith, you will play a vital role in the lifecycle of pharmaceutical development. You will be responsible for designing and executing experimental protocols, optimizing chemical processes, and ensuring that our research outputs align with global regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following core duties:

• Experimental Execution: Design and conduct experimental protocols focused on new product development and the continuous optimization of existing API processes.
• Technical Reporting: Maintain detailed laboratory records, prepare comprehensive technical reports, and present data-driven findings to leadership.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all research and development activities strictly adhere to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
• Technology Transfer: Facilitate the seamless transition of processes from R&D to manufacturing, providing support during scale-up activities to ensure consistency and yield efficiency.
• Collaborative Innovation: Work effectively with internal departments to solve technical challenges, improve process methodologies, and support the overall growth of the R&D department.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or General Chemistry.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 10 years of relevant professional experience within the API, CDMO, or CRO industry.
• Technical Proficiency: A solid foundation in process chemistry, synthetic routes, and modern laboratory practices.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the documentation standards and compliance requirements governing pharmaceutical research.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team-based, professional environment.
