Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Analytical Development Laboratory. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and mentoring a team of analysts to ensure adherence to strict scientific and regulatory standards.
- Managing analytical method development, validation, and transfer processes for various pharmaceutical products.
- Ensuring that all laboratory activities comply with internal quality protocols and external regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP).
- Reviewing and approving analytical data, reports, and documentation with high attention to detail.
- Troubleshooting analytical challenges and providing technical guidance to resolve complex laboratory issues.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and corporate quality objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for these management-level positions, candidates must possess:
- An M.Sc. degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Extensive professional experience of 10 years or more within a pharmaceutical analytical laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial capacity, with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern analytical techniques and instrumentation (such as HPLC, GC, dissolution apparatus, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of regulatory guidelines and quality systems pertaining to pharmaceutical manufacturing and analysis.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
