Job Description:
As a QC Microbiology Analyst – Executive, you will be responsible for performing a variety of microbiological tests and analyses to ensure the quality and safety of our products. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing environment and adhering to stringent regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Monitoring: Conduct comprehensive environmental monitoring activities, including viable and non-viable air sampling, settle plate analysis, surface monitoring, and personnel monitoring within cleanroom environments.
- Water Testing: Perform water testing according to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Microbial Limit Testing (MLT): Execute microbial limit tests to assess the bioburden of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET): Conduct bacterial endotoxin tests (LAL test) to ensure product safety and compliance.
- Bioassay: Perform bioassays to assess the potency and efficacy of biological products.
- Sterility Testing: Conduct sterility testing to ensure that products are free from viable microorganisms.
- Growth Promotion Tests and Media Preparation: Prepare culture media and perform growth promotion tests to ensure the suitability of media for microbiological testing.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete regulatory documentation in compliance with USFDA, EMA, and WHO guidelines.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and data integrity standards.
- Audits and Inspections: Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: M.Sc. in Microbiology (full-time regular course) from a recognized university.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in QC Microbiology within a sterile injectable/biologics/vaccine plant.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of BET (LAL test), sterility testing, MLT, and environmental monitoring techniques.
- Proficiency in microbiological testing methodologies and laboratory equipment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, and data integrity principles.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines (USFDA, EMA, WHO).
- Audit Preparedness: Strong exposure to regulatory documentation and audit-facing skills.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.

- Compensation: ₹4.8 – 7.2 Lakhs per annum (commensurate with experience and current CTC).
