Responsibilities:
As a Research Scientist – In Vivo, you will play a crucial role in the design, execution, and analysis of preclinical in vivo studies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Study Design and Execution: Design, plan, and execute preclinical in vivo studies across multiple therapeutic areas, ensuring scientific rigor and adherence to established protocols.
- Animal Model Expertise: Utilize advanced animal models for drug efficacy and toxicity assessments, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of model selection and application.
- Data Management and Analysis: Perform accurate data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation of study results, ensuring data integrity and drawing meaningful conclusions.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare detailed study reports following organizational and regulatory standards, and present study findings to internal scientific teams and external partners in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary groups across pharmacology, toxicology, biomarkers, and ADMET, fostering a collaborative and integrated research environment.
- GLP Compliance: Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) guidelines and ethical practices in animal research, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all experimental procedures, data, and observations.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree (M.Pharm/M.Sc) in Pharmacology, Life Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience with in vivo experimentation, animal handling, and preclinical CRO workflows. Prior CRO or in vivo-focused experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of in vivo pharmacology, biomarkers, and toxicology techniques, including dosing, sample collection, and data analysis.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and CPCSEA/ethical guidelines related to animal research.
- Communication Skills: Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present scientific data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary scientific teams, contributing to a collaborative and productive research environment.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot experimental challenges and implement effective solutions.
