Job Role & Responsibilities

As a key member of our Quality Control – Microbiology department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Microbiological Monitoring: Conduct systematic sampling and monitoring of water systems and cleanroom environments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Testing and Validation: Execute critical laboratory tests, including Microbial Limit Tests (MLT), Bacterial Endotoxin Tests (BET), and various method validations.
• Laboratory Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of lab hygiene, manage consumables and culture media, and ensure the timely calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Documentation and Quality Assurance: Assist in the development of SOPs and STPs, perform disinfectant qualifications, and actively participate in audit preparedness activities.
• Operations Management: Manage day-to-day microbiology activities, including waste decontamination and ensuring seamless laboratory operations.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: BSc in Microbiology or MSc in Microbiology.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a fundamental understanding of microbiology laboratory practices in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
