Role & responsibilities

Conduct organic synthesis of small molecules and intermediates in the laboratory setting.

Design and execute experiments to optimize synthetic routes and processes.

Perform literature surveys to gather relevant information for project planning and execution.

Utilize analytical tools such as TLC, HPLC,GC, etc. to analyze and interpret chemical conversions.

Document experimental procedures, observations, and analytical data in lab notebooks according to specified guidelines.

Demonstrate proficiency in process scale-up techniques, including operations in Kilo Lab and Plant settings.

Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Maintain basic computer skills for data analysis, documentation, and communication purposes

Preferred candidate profile:

Minimum M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or related field.

Solid understanding of organic chemistry principles and literature survey techniques.

Ability to design and perform experiments independently in a laboratory setting.

Proficiency in analytical techniques such as TLC, HPLC, and GC for chemical analysis.

Experience with documentation of lab experiments and analytical data in laboratory notebooks.

Knowledge of process scale-up techniques and operations in Kilo Lab and Plant environments.

Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety guidelines.

Basic computer skills for data analysis, documentation, and communication.
