Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Team Member for our Manufacturing (Topical Filling) department. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring that all activities meet our high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. You will play a vital role in guiding your team, maintaining equipment, and adhering to strict pharmaceutical manufacturing protocols.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily production activities to ensure goals are met consistently and safely.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and coaching to team members, monitor individual and group productivity, and maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
- Manufacturing Execution: Execute batch manufacturing and packaging activities, specifically focusing on Derma, semi-solid, and liquid products.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Production Records (BPR), and equipment logbooks.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all processes strictly follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to maintain the highest product quality.
- Technical Execution: Oversee specialized processes, including tube filling, bottle packing, and bulk packing operations.
- Training Coordination: Serve as a coordinator for team training through our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Incident Management: Conduct initial investigations into any production incidents or process deviations.
- Administrative Duties: Manage and generate necessary process order numbers to support production workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: A Diploma or B.Sc. degree is required.
- Professional Experience: 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proven experience operating and maintaining airless pump bottle filling machines and IWK filling machine lines.
- Hands-on experience with cartonators and labeling equipment.
- Demonstrated ability in machine troubleshooting and routine preventive maintenance.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work in a collaborative environment, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to follow rigorous safety and regulatory guidelines.
