About the Role

As a member of our Microbiology team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products. You will work in a fast-paced, regulated environment, performing essential tests and maintaining strict adherence to global compliance standards. This position is ideal for professionals looking to sharpen their technical expertise and gain exposure to high-level regulatory audits and EU-GMP manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Microbiological Testing: Execute routine microbiological testing, including Environmental Monitoring (EM) to ensure facility hygiene.
• Laboratory Analysis: Conduct Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET) and Microbial Limit Testing (MLT) in strict accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Sterility Testing: Manage and perform sterility testing activities for products within a controlled environment.
• Quality Management: Maintain comprehensive QMS documentation, ensure laboratory records are accurate, and uphold internal compliance protocols.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all laboratory operations meet EU-GMP standards at all times.
• Audit Support: Actively participate in and support internal and external regulatory inspections and audits.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed laboratory reports and manage data documentation to support ongoing production and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: A degree in M.Sc in Microbiology or B.Tech in Biotechnology.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of microbiological testing techniques, sterilization processes, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working in both sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a quality-focused team.
