Job Responsibilities:
As a Territory/Therapy Business Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Area Business Planning:
– Develop monthly and quarterly business plans.
– Plan and manage demand generation and fulfillment.
– Monitor actual sales, implement mid-course corrections to minimize variance from expectations.
– Conduct prescription audits for Abbott and competitor brands.
– Maintain and update a customer list of doctors and chemists, both in physical and electronic formats.
– Identify potential towns, appoint distributors, and customers in line with business philosophy.
2. Business Generation & Development:
– Achieve sales targets by promoting Abbott products to customers ethically.
– Engage in science-based discussions with doctors and chemists to promote products.
– Organize camps (CME) as per division strategy and customer needs.
– Support successful new product launches by targeting and meeting key customers, and providing feedback to the company.
– Execute customer management plans to ensure all customers are covered as per the division’s strategy, meeting minimum KPIs.
3. Brand Management:
– Ensure the visibility of Abbott brands at retailer outlets.
– Plan and attend retail meets, market blitzes, etc., to drive sales growth.
Required Qualifications:
– Undergraduate Degrees: B.Pharma in Any Specialization, B.Sc in Food Technology, Hospitality and Hotel Management, Geology, Optometry, Home Science, Maths, Microbiology, Nursing, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture, Anthropology, Bio-Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Dairy Technology, General, Environmental Science.
– Postgraduate Degrees: M.Pharma in Any Specialization, MS/M.Sc(Science) in Biotechnology, Agriculture, Anthropology, Bio-Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Chemistry.
