Key Responsibilities
As a QC Chemist, your primary objective will be to uphold the integrity of our production processes. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:
* Performing routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
* Operating and maintaining sophisticated laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, and other analytical tools.
* Strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all test results.
* Documenting all findings clearly and maintaining precise records for regulatory audits and quality control logs.
* Identifying and troubleshooting deviations in testing and collaborating with the production team to implement effective solutions.
* Supporting the team in method validation and process optimization to improve product quality.
* Ensuring that all laboratory safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a secure working environment.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Chemistry.
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 6 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control role, preferably within the chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
* Skills: Strong understanding of chemical testing methodologies, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in laboratory software.
* Communication: Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical findings accurately.
