Position Details
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control (QC) Officer to manage analytical and microbiological testing within our state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will be someone with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical environments who is capable of upholding strict quality standards and safety regulations. While we welcome applications from qualified professionals, we generally prioritize male candidates with proven exposure to pharmaceutical quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our products through precise testing and meticulous documentation. Your primary duties will include:
- Performing complex analytical testing using advanced instrumentation, specifically HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography).
- Executing analytical method validations to ensure reliability and accuracy of test results.
- Conducting essential microbiology operations, including Total Organic Carbon (TOC) testing, Microbial Limit Testing (MLT), and Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET).
- Ensuring all activities are conducted in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Adhering strictly to organizational and industrial safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), or a Bachelor/Master of Science (B.Sc/M.Sc) in Chemistry or Microbiology.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years of experience within a pharmaceutical Quality Control department.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern laboratory equipment and a deep understanding of standard QC methodologies.
