Position Description

We are currently seeking dedicated Research Trainees to work within our Analytical R&D department. In this role, you will be mentored by experienced scientists and exposed to the core methodologies of pharmaceutical analysis. You will be responsible for assisting in the testing and evaluation of various formulations, ensuring that all laboratory activities align with our quality standards and research objectives. This position is ideal for candidates who possess a strong foundational knowledge of chemistry and are eager to apply their academic training in a real-world industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Trainee, your daily involvement will include, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting senior researchers in the analysis and characterization of pharmaceutical products.
  • Conducting tests using modern analytical instrumentation techniques under supervision.
  • Maintaining accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of R&D documentation.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and developments relevant to formulation and analytical chemistry.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), or M.Sc in Chemistry from a recognized institution.
  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of analytical chemistry principles and instrumentation techniques.
  • Formulation Skills: Basic awareness and understanding of pharmaceutical formulation development processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
