Role and Responsibilities
As an Operation Coordinator in our Pharmacovigilance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that safety data is handled effectively and in accordance with global regulatory standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Management of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSR): You will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of safety reports, ensuring that all data is captured accurately and submitted within required timelines.
* Adverse Event (AE) Tracking: You will monitor and track adverse events, ensuring that all safety signals are identified, recorded, and escalated appropriately.
* Narrative Writing: You will be tasked with drafting high-quality, comprehensive medical narratives that detail patient cases, including patient history, symptoms, treatment, and outcomes.
* Safety Data Review: You will perform thorough reviews of safety data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established safety guidelines and company protocols.
* Regulatory Compliance: You will maintain a deep understanding of current safety regulations and guidelines to ensure that all internal processes meet the required legal and ethical standards for drug safety.
* Collaboration: You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that information is shared effectively and that project timelines are consistently met.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following educational and professional requirements:
* Academic Background: Candidates must hold a degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm D), Life Sciences (B.Sc, M.Sc), or Medical/Clinical fields (BDS, BHMS, MBBS).
* Experience: We welcome applications from both fresh graduates and professionals with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or pharmacovigilance industry.
* Technical Knowledge: A strong foundational knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines, ICSR processes, and medical terminology is essential.
* Attention to Detail: The nature of this work requires high precision. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to manage repetitive data entry tasks without compromising quality.
* Communication Skills: Proficiency in written English is mandatory, as the role requires significant documentation and technical writing.
