Role and Responsibilities
As a Mapping Specialist at Wipro, your primary responsibility will be to work with complex mapping software and geographical data. You will be tasked with analyzing and verifying geographical information to improve the efficiency of navigation tools. Success in this role requires a sharp eye for detail, a strong grasp of computer systems, and the ability to work comfortably within the Microsoft Excel environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards while meeting operational targets in a dynamic team setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Academic Background: You must be a graduate with all relevant educational documents in hand, including your Provisional Certificate (PC) and Consolidated Marks Memo (CMM). Please note that this opportunity is strictly for candidates who have completed their degree; students who are currently pursuing graduation or post-graduation are not eligible to apply.
Technical Proficiency: Candidates should have a solid foundation in computer operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Furthermore, you should possess a keen interest and working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), GPS technology, and the specific features of modern mapping and navigation tools, such as Google Maps.
Communication: As we work in a global business environment, excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
Work Specifications and Flexibility
This role is based in our Hyderabad office, and as we are an organization that prioritizes collaborative productivity, the position is strictly for “Work from Office.” Candidates must be comfortable working in a professional office environment.
Because we serve clients across different time zones, the role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts. You must be prepared to work during night shifts as required by the business needs. The standard work week consists of five days of operation, with two days of rotational time off. We are looking for candidates who can join our team immediately.
