Job Description:
As a Biotechnology Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for AAL Biosciences. You will be responsible for generating leads within the pharma, biotech, and CRO/CDMO sectors, supporting the sales team in expanding our client base and driving business growth. This is a fantastic entry-level position for individuals with a strong scientific background and a passion for business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Identification and Generation: Proactively identify and generate new business leads within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CRO/CDMO industries.
- Secondary Research: Conduct in-depth secondary research to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and pinpoint key decision-makers within their organizations.
- Outreach and Engagement: Utilize a multi-channel approach, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging, to engage potential clients and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- CRM Management: Accurately maintain and update our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with detailed lead information, ensuring data integrity and facilitating efficient follow-up.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with technical and marketing teams to develop targeted pitches and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of AAL Biosciences’ services.
- Performance Tracking: Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and qualification targets, contributing directly to the company’s overall business development goals.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new lead generation opportunities.
Qualifications and Eligibility:
- Education: BSc or MSc degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in lead generation, inside sales, CRM, or scientific market research is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Graduation Year: Must be a graduate of the 2023, 2024, or 2025 batches. Final-year students awaiting results are also welcome to apply.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Proficiency in Hindi or Telugu is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Passionate about the biotech/pharma industry and business development. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
