Key Responsibilities:
As a Research Intern in Proteomics & Molecular Biology, you will be responsible for the following:
- Protein Handling: Assisting in protein extraction, purification, and characterization processes.
- Molecular Biology Techniques: Performing DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR/RT-PCR, and gel electrophoresis.
- Biochemical Assays: Conducting various biochemical assays and performing sample analysis.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed experimental records and lab notebooks in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) standards.
- Project Support: Providing support to senior researchers in ongoing proteomics and molecular biology research projects.
- Lab Maintenance: Ensuring adherence to lab safety protocols and contributing to equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this internship, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
