Job Description:

As an Associate – Business Development, you will play a crucial role in expanding HaystackAnalytics’ reach and impact within the healthcare community. This is a field-based position where you will be responsible for engaging with doctors, clinics, hospitals, and diagnostic centers to promote our advanced genomics and diagnostic solutions. You will be a key point of contact for healthcare professionals, building lasting relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Regularly engage with doctors, clinics, hospitals, and diagnostic centers to introduce and promote HaystackAnalytics’ innovative genomics and diagnostic solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, acting as a trusted advisor and resource.
  • Sales & Business Development: Support regional sales strategies, working towards achieving monthly sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate customer records, visit logs, and follow-up reports, ensuring effective tracking of interactions and opportunities.
  • Product Demonstrations & Meetings: Actively participate in product demonstrations, sales meetings, and marketing activities to showcase the value of HaystackAnalytics’ solutions.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the field of genomics and infectious disease diagnostics.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background: B.Pharm, B.Sc Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related degree from an accredited institution.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and confident personality, representing HaystackAnalytics with pride and integrity.
  • Drive & Ambition: Energetic, ambitious, and eager to learn the fundamentals of sales and business development.
  • Field Work Ability: Ability to work effectively on-field, managing travel-based responsibilities and maintaining a high level of productivity.

  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using basic computer applications like MS office.
