Job Title: API Production Operator/Executive/Trainee
Department: API Production (Mineral-based APIs)
Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu
Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our API Production team in Hosur. As an API Production Operator/Executive/Trainee, you will be responsible for participating in the manufacturing of our high-quality mineral-based APIs. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and other API manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform in-process quality checks and meticulously document all activities according to cGMP standards.
- Adhere strictly to batch manufacturing records (BMR) and batch packing records (BPR) to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols within the API production block.
- Collaborate effectively with QC, QA, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Actively participate in scale-up activities, validation batches, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any deviations to supervisors.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry, B.Tech / BE Chemical, or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- 0–8 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical API manufacturing (bulk drugs) is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply for Trainee roles.
- Solid understanding of GMP, safety regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
