Crescent Pharma is pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity for entry-level professionals to join our dedicated Pharmacovigilance team in Thane. We are looking for bright, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals who are eager to launch their careers in the pharmaceutical industry. If you have a solid academic foundation in pharmacy and a keen interest in drug safety and patient welfare, we invite you to apply for this position.

About the Role

As a Trainee or Executive in our Pharmacovigilance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our pharmaceutical products. Pharmacovigilance is the backbone of patient safety, involving the monitoring, identification, and prevention of adverse effects associated with medical treatments. You will be part of a team that maintains global safety standards, working in an environment that encourages learning, professional growth, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the core activities of the Pharmacovigilance department, including:

Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) Processing: You will be responsible for the accurate intake, assessment, and reporting of adverse event reports received from various sources. This involves ensuring that every case is processed according to established company and regulatory timelines.

Data Entry and Management: Accurate documentation is vital in our field. You will be required to enter safety data into our safety databases with a high level of precision, ensuring that all information is captured correctly and consistently.

Safety Data Analysis: You will assist in the ongoing analysis of safety data to identify patterns, signals, or trends. This requires a high degree of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity throughout the lifecycle of the safety report.

Compliance with Regulatory Guidelines: As a pharmaceutical company, we operate under strict global regulatory requirements. You will be expected to learn and adhere to these guidelines to ensure that all internal processes meet the standards required by international health authorities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Academic Background: A degree in B.Pharm or M.Pharm is mandatory. We value candidates who have demonstrated strong academic performance during their studies, as this indicates a solid understanding of pharmacology and clinical principles.

Technical Skills: While this is an entry-level position, a basic understanding of safety database software and pharmacovigilance concepts will be considered a strong advantage. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with digital documentation and quick to learn new technical systems.

Communication and Documentation: You must possess clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Since much of the role involves technical documentation and reporting, the ability to write concise, accurate, and professional reports is essential.

Analytical Mindset: We are looking for individuals who are inquisitive, analytical, and capable of maintaining a high level of focus on repetitive, data-heavy tasks. If you are naturally detail-oriented and enjoy solving complex problems, you will thrive in this position.

Working Environment

This position is based at our office in Thane. We believe that a collaborative office environment is essential for training and development, particularly for those starting their careers. Working directly with experienced mentors in an office setting will provide you with the best foundation to understand our processes and grow within the company.
