Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Executive or Officer to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that all processes are executed according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. This position is ideal for individuals who are at the beginning of their careers and are looking to build a strong foundation in pharmaceutical production.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will work closely with experienced production personnel to oversee equipment operation and monitor manufacturing cycles. You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our products by ensuring that all batch records are documented accurately and in a timely manner. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role, as you will frequently interact with the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) departments to ensure that every stage of the production process meets our internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Execution: You will actively participate in day-to-day production activities. This includes the setup, operation, and monitoring of production machinery to ensure efficiency and product consistency.
* Compliance and Documentation: A primary focus of this role is strict adherence to SOPs and GMP standards. You will be expected to maintain precise and error-free documentation, including batch production records and logbooks, ensuring all data is audit-ready at all times.
* Inter-departmental Coordination: You will serve as a bridge between the production floor and the quality departments. This includes providing updates, reporting deviations, and ensuring that all process-related information is communicated effectively to Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams.
* Safety and Hygiene: Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential. You will monitor and enforce safety protocols and hygiene standards on the shop floor to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the safety of all personnel.
* Troubleshooting and Improvement: You will support senior production staff in identifying operational challenges. You will also contribute to small-scale troubleshooting efforts and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production workflows and reducing wastage.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong educational background in the life sciences or pharmacy. We are looking for candidates who possess:
* Education: A degree in B.Sc or M.Sc (specifically in Chemistry or Microbiology), or a degree in B.Pharm or M.Pharm. Relevant qualifications in related fields will also be considered.
* Experience: This role is open to fresh graduates as well as those with up to 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing setup.
* Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of GMP guidelines and general pharmaceutical production principles is highly desirable.
* Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills are required to facilitate effective teamwork.
